Dana White is doubling down on his claim Khabib Nurmagomedov will return to the Octagon — and he’s willing to put his money where his mouth is! “If I had to make a bet — and I’m a betting man — I would bet he does return,” Dana tells TMZ Sports.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently revealed that his boss, UFC President Dana White, is an avid blackjack player who risks millions of dollars when he plays.

Discussing the matter through the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast, Rogan said that White bets enough to make the average person sick.

“I am terrified of gambling, because I know way too many people who do it. And rich people!” said Rogan. “Like my friend Dana White, who’s the president of the UFC, he’s rich. And he will gamble. He’s lost as much as a million dollars in a night. Fuck that. Dude, I wouldn’t be able to sleep for a month…”

Apparently, White isn’t a bad player and even booked a multi-million dollar win one night.

“Well he won seven million one night. They don’t like to pay you, they like to keep it in the casino,” Rogan explained. “So they paid him in garbage bags. They wanted to give him cash, they didn’t even want to give him a bag. He had to go get garbage bags.

“So they came back with those fucking black hefty bags, and they stuffed seven million dollars into hefty bags and then left the casino.”

According to Craziest Sports Fights, White has since confirmed this story while saying that he indeed had to get his own trash bags for the fortune.

The only detail that Rogan seems to have gotten wrong was the winning amount, which White says was $5 million. And the UFC President wasn’t too happy when the casino told him that he’d have to carry the winnings out in cash.

“I’m like, are you serious? We’re going to get killed,” said White. “They don’t have some kind of suitcase where they put the money in. ‘You just beat us, here you go.’ That’s really the attitude. They just stack it all up there and go ‘thanks, have a great night.’ We’ve had trash bags, we got to the point we started bringing our own bags.”

Gambling

Despite some of the massive wins that he’s booked in blackjack, White says it’s not the money that excites him, but rather the thrills.

“It’s the rush and excitement of all rushes,” he explained. “What would you do if you put a $50,000 hand up there and you have to split ’em? There’s nights I beat the casinos for $5,000,000.”

With a net worth of $350 million and the UFC still going strong, it seems that White will have plenty more money to continue his high stakes blackjack sessions in the future.

White is well known for being a big gambler. In fact, this millionaire has been known to walk out of casinos carrying big black garbage bags full of cash and White also has no problem betting $50,000 a hand in Blackjack.

In response to this recent ban, White stated that it is clear that casinos are now all owned by corporations and hedge funds which do everything possible to prevent players from winning.

As White stated, “”Casinos don’t want to gamble anymore.”

To add to this recent ban, allegations were also made that White is a card-counter but he quickly dismissed these claims stating, “A lot of people are going to think I’m a card counter after that Ben Affleck thing at the Hard Rock. I’m the farthest thing from card counter.”

In 2012, White had a fall out with the Palms Casino due to his winning ways and as a result White pulled all UFC events from the casino when his credit line was cut in half.

Gambling

In March this year the two parties settled their differences but it seems there is trouble in paradise again.
