In Phantasy Star Online 2, Auxiliary (JP: Support Partner) are small AI-controlled versions of characters. After previously being available on Xbox One, Phantasy Star Online 2 has now released on PC in the west. Unfortunately there’s been a boatload of errors and issues with its Windows 10 release on the Microsoft Store, and one of the most prominent is an issue with simply launching the game.
A lot of the issues with the PC release of Phantasy Star Online 2 have been blamed on the Microsoft Store. This has resulted in plenty of disgruntled claims that the storefront is shoddy at best and that the game’s long-anticipated western release on the master race has been sullied.
There have been plenty of disastrous PC releases in the past with Red Dead Redemption 2 immediately coming to mind, but there’s no denying that Sega’s recent release is also one of the worst as players complain about being unable to launch the game.

How to fix: Phantasy Star Online 2 not launching on PC
There is no official fix for the Phantasy Star Online 2 not launching on PC conundrum.
A variety of fixes have been suggested from ensuring you are logged into the Microsoft Store to disabling your antivirus, but a lot of players are still complaining about not being able to launch Phantasy Star Online 2 on PC.
You can find a megathread of hotfixes for a bunch of issues over on Reddit, and you can also find plenty of possible solutions for the ‘not launching’ problem by searching on the PSO2 subreddit.
With that being said, there’s not one fix that everyone unanimously agrees with as while some solutions work for a few they don’t for many others.

The most basic possible solution that has been shared is simply ensuring you are logged into the Microsoft Store, whereas most others require digging through files and messing about with your PC.
